Reusable Small Linen Bowl Covers For Jars
This set of 10 reusable, washable linen covers is perfect for covering jars, small bowls, dishes, mugs, glasses and jugs.
Each beautiful, breathable linen cover can be easily placed on a jar, jug, bowl, dish or glass, with the elastic hem holding the fabric taut so that your food or drink is covered, while allowing air to circulate.
Suitable for jars, small bowls, dishes, mugs, glasses and jugs from 5cm - 11cm (2-4 1/4 inches) across.
Great for jam or chutney preserves, for fermenting, particularly Kombucha, Kefir, Kimchi and Sauerkraut or for covering glasses or jugs of cocktails or even home made lemonade (see recipe).
Pop them in the fridge or cover jugs, jars or dishes on the worktop. They are designed to be used again and again.
Made from hand printed linen fabric, left over from larger projects, each jar cover helps us make best use of fabric, reducing waste. Each pack will contain a range of colours and designs, no two packs will be the same!
A great way to avoid single use plastics like cling film.
We love them because:-
- They can be used in the fridge
- They let food breathe - unlike cling film!
- They are reusable, over and over again
- They look great in the kitchen
- You can match them to our Kitchen Accessories
- They're an eco-friendly alternative to plastic and silicone
- They help to use up fabric off cuts
- Machine washable at 30 degrees.
Helen says: "This great new product uses fabric off cuts from the studio which helps us manage our waste fabric. They look simply great and are really practical. I'm sure you will simply love them and find them endlessly useful".
Bowl covers are also available in a Set of Three Multi-Sized or for very large bowls or dishes. For the complete range, click here.
Images of this collection are indicative, not all designs and colours will appear in all packs. All covers are made of hand printed linen and are made locally here in Cornwall by our team of small artisan makers.
About our linen
We use 100% linen fabric that carries the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification. For the last 8 years, we have worked closely with a small family business in Europe from whom we source our linen. In our Cornish studios, we use a traditional artisan printing technique to hand print our designs onto the linen fabric using water based inks. The print, once dry, is then fixed using a heat process, allowing the linen to be fully washable. It is then sewn into products by our team of clever makers.

Perfect little bowl covers - using them to cover the jars with my kefir grains. The grains can breathe but stay clean.
I love the fun colours and the practicality of these covers. So much better for the environment to use reusable covers for leftovers in the fridge than cling film.
I bought jar covers - I was bothered that pots for the fridge- like large yoghurt pots were being surrounded by cling film once they were opened. Then I saw these jar and pot covers and hurrah- no more cling film but lovely reusable linen covers. They fit snuggly round the larger yoghurt pots and coleslaw and leftovers in a dish. I went on to buy the companion set- so now I have a choice of covers for different needs and I’m being environmentally friendly. Also my fridge contents look so pretty!!
Thanks Eileen... I use mine for yogurt and tins in the fridge too... so handy and washable too :)
Beautifully and thoughtfully made to fit jam jar size. Lovely selection of colours and prints from the different collections.
