• To keep our mugs looking their best, we recommend hand washing them promptly after use. Avoid scouring pads or harsh detergents. If discolouration occurs, soak in warm water before washing.

Can I put bone china mugs in the dishwasher?

• Yes — our mugs can be washed in a dishwasher at 40°C. Use only the gentle, short wash or china and crystal cycle with a gentle detergent.

How do I remove stubborn stains from bone china?

For stubborn stains, try one of these methods:

• Soak with a slice of lemon in boiled water
• Use a paste of bicarbonate of soda and water
• Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with ½ cup white vinegar and ½ cup warm water. Pour into the mug, covering the stained area, and leave to soak for at least 2 hours. Finish with a gentle scrub using a soft cloth.
