All purchases are covered by the Distance Selling Regulations. All prices on this website are in pound sterling and online payment is via Stripe or Paypal. If you wish to pay by cheque or by telephone please contact Helen Round prior to placing an order. Please note products will not be shipped until the payment has cleared. All sales are subject to availability; Helen Round will contact you within 3 working days from receipt of order if items are out of stock. To return a product please click here.
Returns and Cancellations
We hope you are happy with your purchase. However on the rare occasion that you are not, then returns must be made within 30 days of the order date, and advised within 3 working days of receipt. To return a product please click here. Follow these instructions to process your refund:-
Submit a return request Click the profile icon in the store's navigation, or go to the refund policy or a returns page, and then request a return. 1. Log in to your account: 1. In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue. 2. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email. 3. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code. 2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for. 3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return. 4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store. 5. Click Request return. If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions. When the product is received by Helen Round, you will receive a refund to your original payment method.
The cost of products will be fully refunded but return costs (e.g. Postage and Packing) will be the responsibility of the customer. If goods are found to be faulty or damaged prior to transit Helen Round will be responsible for the return postage costs. Please note products that have been soiled through use or wear are not accepted for return.
If your order arrives and has been damaged in transit, please let us know immediately by phone or email. We ask that you take detailed photographs of any damage to assist in the returns process.
Products that are bought as seconds or samples cannot be returned and are not eligible for a refund. Cut fabric such as linen, ticking or bamboo are non returnable. Products that are bespoke and have been made to specific customer requirements, that are not a stock product, cannot be returned and are not eligible for a refund.
When returning products, please for your own protection, obtain a proof of postage as returned goods that are lost in shipping remain the customer’s responsibility.
If you wish to cancel an order, written notice must be given to Helen Round, within 7 working days from the day after that from which the goods are received from the customer.
In accordance with Royal Mail terms, deliveries are not considered to be lost or missing until 15 working days after the sending date which is when we are able to investigate further. We will do all we can to help ensure a resolution is met.
If you book a workshop and need to cancel you can do so within 14 days of booking and receive a full refund. Should you need to cancel after 14 days, no refund will be given. We understand that in some circumstances, for example ill health, you might be unable to attend. We will do our very best to fill your space and, should this be possible, offer you a full refund or an alternative workshop date. With our studio in Mount Edgcumbe Park there are a few occasions during the year when the Park might need to close to protect the public from high winds and falling trees. Should this happen on a workshop date, we will do our very best to find a suitable venue nearby to hold the workshop. We will obviously give you as much notice as possible should this be the case.
Helen Round reserves the right to cancel orders if there is a data error in price/description. If Helen Round cancels your order you will be notified by email or telephone and a full refund of the amount Helen Round deducted will be given.
