Can I put bone china mugs in the dishwasher?

How do I remove stubborn stains from bone china?
• Soak with a slice of lemon in boiled water
Use a paste of bicarbonate of soda and water
Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with ½ cup white vinegar and ½ cup warm water. Pour into the mug, covering the stained area, and leave to soak for at least 2 hours. Finish with a gentle scrub using a soft cloth.

The Story Behind The Collection

The Bluebell Collection is inspired by the native British bluebells that transform the Cornish countryside each spring. Helen has many happy memories of these flowers from her childhood, growing up in and area of natural woodland. Living and working on the Rame Peninsula, our shop studio is just steps away from some of the most beautiful spring spectacles, including the woodland walks around Maker Heights and Pigshill Woods. The collection captures the simple beauty of these "nodding" flowers, which are a vital source of early nectar for bees and butterflies.

These mugs are really lovely to use, very pretty and much admired. I prefer the smaller size but my husband loves the larger one.
