It's that time of year again, and when I asked my Mum what she would you like for Mother's Day, this was her reply! "Oh yes, one of your make up bags please.....mine's worn out". "Does it have to be one of my things?", I replied "....pick something else!"

The History of the Tea Towel - As I was drying up, yet again, the other day, I wondered where the term 'tea towel' came from. A little foray on Google soon told me that way back in the 1800’s the Great British tea towel was an elegant linen drying cloth that the lady in the home would use to dry her best china tea set.
2015 is the Year of The Sheep…... In previously years, I have to admit that the Chinese New Year has often passed me by…but not so this year, as our Pastoral Collection has been proving quite popular in Japan!
The Garden Collection was a joy to develop. As a keen gardener and lover of flowers, it was very easy to find inspiration for this new illustrating some of my garden favourites, including Lupins, Hollyhocks, Agapanthus and Alliums.

I particularly love this time of year, when the garden really starts to come alive and special plants, which you had forgotten about pop their heads up….the sun has been pouring into the studio over the last few weeks and its such a lovely place to work.
Our little bit of Cornwall has been severely beaten and bashed by some awful weather over the last few months, but I am now pleased to report that things are much quieter in the County and the beautiful new shoots in the garden surrounding my studio are a sure sign that Spring is very nearly with us.
