Silver Jewellery Making Workshop

Make yourself some beautiful new accessories at our hands on jewellery workshop. Learn how to re-make your old silver and gold earrings, chains and rings into lovely new, contemporary bangles, chain necklaces, fused rings, pendants and earrings.

Fine for complete beginners, we melt, shape, re-connect, hammer, fuse old metal to create new pieces you’ll love to wear. We cover reticulation, granulation, cutting, filing, soldering, texturing and finishing your own contemporary jewellery designs.

Choose from hammered silver earrings, handmade chain necklace or bracelet, bespoke clasps, hammered bangle or a simple stacker ring. Bring your old silver (and gold) jewellery along to incorporate into your designs if you like; and make things from scratch using eco-silver provided. The eco-silver you will use to make your collection of jewellery costs £20 and needs to be paid to the tutor on the day.

Workshop is held in the Belvedere Room at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park.

Tea/coffee and biscuits included! (Bring your own lunch, or there’s a lovely cafe there)
