Tea, coffee and cake will be provided during the lampshade workshop.

“Learning how to make a lampshade is so satisfying”, says Helen. “You start with a flat rectangular shaped piece of fabric and can’t imagine quite how you are going to turn it into a beautiful shade with crisp tidy edges. After just a short time, you realise it’s going to be one of those things that you just want to do again…that’s why we make two lampshades during the workshop!”

Helen, sincere thanks for an excellent 1/2 day lampshade making. You always make things so clear and simple to follow with your demonstrations and one on one tuition where necessary. I left the session with two lampshades that looked very professional and which I would be thrilled to show off to friends.
