Whether a small ink smudge or a design printed a little too faintly, these pieces don't make it into our final selection so we’ve added them to our sale. This beautiful, large, fine bone china mug, from the Quayside Collection, features a shoal of fish design inspired by Cornwall's fishing heritage. It's perfect for a hot drink at any time of the day.
This lovely fish mug is the perfect gift for sea lovers and fisherfolk! A fabulous large mug with a very fine drinking edge and decorated with a shoal of Cornish fish.
The mug is available in two colours - White or Cornish Slate Grey, measures 9cm high and 9cm wide and holds roughly 400ml of liquid.
Made from bone china, each mug is dishwasher safe and is hand printed and decorated in the UK.
This design is inspired by Cornish fishing heritage. Once the scene of a busy pilchard industry, fish were stored and preserved in ‘Pilchard Palaces’. The remains of these palaces can be seen on the rocky shorelines in villages near our shop and studio. You can read more about the local villages of The Rame Peninsula and their history here.
