A beautiful linen shade, hand printed with a design from The Rame Head Collection, available in four colour ways:-

The Rame Head lampshade features a hand printed design from The Rame Head Collection and is the perfect way to add a unique splash of colour to your living space. Hand printed on a choice of four lovely linen colours.

The shade is hand rolled and finished by our small team of dedicated makers in our Cornish studio.

Choose from four sizes – 20cm, 30cm (pictured here), 40cm or 50cm diameter with either a pendant or lamp fitting.

The lampshade fabric is made of pure linen and the shade is suitable for use in the UK and Europe.  If you live outside the UK and you'd like to purchase this product, please get in touch to discuss shipping options.

The Story Behind The Collection

The Rame Head Collection is inspired by the dramatic headland and the beautiful Rame Peninsula in South East Cornwall. This landmark, topped with its ancient 14th-century chapel, holds a special place in local history. For centuries, Rame Head has been: A Sailor's Landmark: Often the last piece of land sailors see when leaving England and the first they spot when returning home. A Place of Memories: Inspired by Helen’s many walks along the steep cliffs of Whitsand Bay and the climb up to the chapel. The design captures the rugged, coastal energy of this "forgotten corner" of Cornwall. Each piece is hand-printed in our studio at Maker Heights, which sits right on the peninsula, overlooking the very landscape that inspired the collection.

What size lampshade do I need for my lampbase?
• The shade width should roughly match the lamp base height, extending at least 1.5 cm beyond the widest point, with a recommendation to "go large" if undecided.

Does this lampshade require a specific type of fitting?
• Your lampshade will come ready to fit. It has a removable plastic washer which can be taken out to accommodate larger bulbs.

How much light does a fabric lampshade let through?
• Pure, hand-printed linen provides a soft, warm ambient glow, allowing light to diffuse through the woven fabric.

How do I make sure I have the right linen colour to match my decor?
• If you are unsure which linen colour will work best, we recommend purchasing a linen sample pack to help with colour matching.

What size pendant lampshade should I choose?
• To determine the ideal pendant shade size, simulate the shade by rolling up a piece of cardboard to visualize its proportions within the room and then measure the diameter. This approach allows you to adjust the size to achieve proper visual balance before selecting a 20cm, 30cm, 40cm, or 50cm diameter drum shade. Read the full guide in our journal.
