Featuring our lovely Honey Bee design, this hand printed linen shade is available in three sizes, 20cm, 30cm (pictured here) and 40cm diameter and is perfect for a ceiling pendant or lamp fitting.

This lovely bee lampshade, handprinted in our Cornish studios, is made from pure linen. The linen fabric allows the light to shine through the shade illuminating the printed navy bee design. The shade is hand rolled and finished by a small team of dedicated makers.

The lampshade fabric is pure linen and the shade is suitable for use in the UK and Europe.

Digital screens display image colours in slightly different ways. Please order a fabric sample pack to ensure the perfect colour match.

Helen says:- This shade is one of my favourites and I have really enjoyed designing this lovely new Honey Bee Collection. The Bee design is inspired by my father, Roger who is a very keen bee keeper. With over 20 hives he is passionate about helping to protect and increase honeybee colonies, encouraging others to take up bee keeping as a hobby and giving support and advice to new apiarists. Through his knowledge and expertise, I have learnt so much about these amazing busy creatures and their magical healing honey making skills. The Story Behind The Collection

The Honey Bee Collection was born from Helen’s deep appreciation for the vital role bees play in our ecosystem. Inspired by the gentle hum of activity in her Cornish garden, these hand-drawn designs celebrate one of nature's most hardworking pollinators. The collection features a charming, minimalist bee illustration that reflects the focus on nature and sustainability at the heart of our studio. By highlighting the honey bee, Helen hopes to bring a small reminder of the importance of protecting our natural world into your daily life.

What size lampshade do I need for my lampbase?
• The shade width should roughly match the lamp base height, extending at least 1.5 cm beyond the widest point, with a recommendation to "go large" if undecided.

Does this lampshade require a specific type of fitting?
• Your lampshade will come ready to fit. It has a removable plastic washer which can be taken out to accommodate larger bulbs.

How much light does a fabric lampshade let through?
• Pure, hand-printed linen provides a soft, warm ambient glow, allowing light to diffuse through the woven fabric.

How do I make sure I have the right linen colour to match my decor?
• If you are unsure which linen colour will work best, we recommend purchasing a linen sample pack to help with colour matching.

What size pendant lampshade should I choose?
• To determine the ideal pendant shade size, simulate the shade by rolling up a piece of cardboard to visualize its proportions within the room and then measure the diameter. This approach allows you to adjust the size to achieve proper visual balance before selecting a 20cm, 30cm, 40cm, or 50cm diameter drum shade. Read the full guide in our journal.
