About the Garden Collection - the design on the napkins is inspired by the flowers that grow in Helen's garden. Helen says, "...some of my favourite cottage garden plants are here; Alliums, Agapanthus, British Bluebells, Hollyhocks and Lupins. On a sunny day my favourite place has to be my garden!".
Interestingly.... The word napkin is derived from nappe (French for cloth or tablecloth) combined with the suffix kin (meaning little) and is defined as a small piece of cloth or paper, usually square, used while eating for protecting the clothes and wiping the fingers or lips.
Hello Helen, I was very happy with the placemats and napkins, they looked lovely with my green majolica plates for Christmas Laurie
We firstly received a couple of napkins as a gift. They are of high quality and when washed and ironed come out looking and feeling as new unlike other supposedly similar quality napkins. We consequently decided to order four more as a present for some friends who we know will appreciate them as much as we do. They were also required urgently and Helen and her team responded brilliantly and we received them the next day. Well done.
