A linen bread bag in our new Forager design — hand printed in Cornwall with botanicals foraged from Cornish hedgerows: honeysuckle, rosehip, wild garlic, blackberry, comfrey, calendula, elderberry, crab apple, and blackthorn.

Printed on sage green linen with a forest green print, this beautiful linen bread bag keeps bread fresher for longer, naturally. Unlike plastic, breathable linen lets air circulate while maintaining just the right level of humidity — keeping crusts crisp and your crumb moist.

Turn the top down to create a pretty basket for serving bread at the table, or hang it from the handy cotton loop. Perfect for home-baked loaves, sourdough, bakery breads, and rolls. A plastic-free essential for bread lovers.

Each bag is hand printed in our Cornish studio using water-based inks and made by our small team of skilled makers. Take a look at our other bread bag designs in a variety of linen colours.

Wondering How Bread Bags Work?

A linen bread bag works by creating the perfect natural environment in which to store your bread, thanks to the unique properties of pure linen.

Unlike plastic, which traps moisture and causes bread to sweat and go mouldy, breathable linen allows air to circulate while maintaining just the right level of humidity. This helps keep crusts crisp and your crumb moist, preserving the quality of your loaf for longer.

Reusable, sustainable and beautifully hand crafted, a linen bread bag offers a simple, plastic-free solution that protects your bread while reducing waste—making it one of the best and most natural ways to store fresh and artisan loaves at home.

The Story Behind The Collection

The Forager collection was inspired by the wild abundance of the Cornish hedgerows — a living larder that changes with every season. Each botanical in the print was chosen for its beauty and its place in Cornish foraging tradition, from the tangy sweetness of crab apple to the jewel-bright clusters of elderberry.

The design was created in collaboration with Dylan, an illustrator and university student whose work beautifully captures the spirit of the natural world. We’ll be sharing more about Dylan and their creative process in an upcoming blog post.

Printed by hand in our Cornwall studio onto sage green linen with a forest green print, this is a collection that celebrates the natural world right outside our door.
