Just be mindful

I haven't used them yet as they are a Christmas item. First of all I should say that I love Helen's products. I have bought 'seconds' items from her website previously, knowing that they will not be perfect, and the standard has always been acceptable. I re-watched Helen's on-line vlog where she says that seconds often have small or slight imperfections that can be hard to see. On that basis I went ahead and bought two Christmas linen tea towels. One was fine, a very small mark and slight blurring of the ink in one place. The second however, was very disappointing. Quite a large area of the design is very feint, as if the roller has almost missed it. This is in two places, once at the top and again at the bottom of the wreath shape. I'm not sure that it could even be classed as a 'second'. Such a shame as they are a lovely design and colour. I'm not sure that I will be able to have this one on show as the fault is very obvious. Just something to bear in mind. As I say, I was aware I was buying a 'second' and took the risk. I might think twice in future.
