Nurturing Talent

As the business has grown, we have continued to nourish our proud Cornish roots, training up makers and printers from our community. Over the years we have trained 5 apprentices, all of whom have gone onto different things, university, bigger companies, etc. We continue to foster talent through internships with Plymouth University,  Arts University  Plymouth and work experience for younger school aged students, providing them with a solid set of skills and hopefully the passion to do things sustainably!

We love supporting the next generation of artists and run an annual competition with second year students on Arts University  Plymouth's Textile Printing degree course, asking them to create a new design for us. It is amazing to see the creativity and professionalism that this brief creates and with such a high standard, choosing a winner is not an easy task! This year’s winner is Rebecca Crispin and her design now features on our most recent AW 2023 leaf collection.
