Giving Back
We work hard to go beyond the remit of our business and give back to our community and society. This year we are supporting two fantastic organisations:-
The Old Ship
The Old Ship in Cawsand village was destroyed by a fire back in 2013, with only the front wall left standing. Having been left derelict for many years, until the Peninsula Trust CIC took it on. Working with local historians, they are slowly rebuilding The Old Ship with facilities for the community on the ground floor and much needed homes for local people above. We love everything about this project and are proud to support it, find out more about it here.
Bees for Development
Bees for Development is an international charity working to alleviate poverty through beekeeping, supporting sustainable livelihoods in poor and remote communities. We donate a percentage of the sales of our Bee Kind gift boxes each year and have also supported the charity through fundraising and product donations. A recent community curry night organised by our whole team (at The Old Ship of course) raised over £600 – well done everyone!
