About Helen Round
Hand printed textiles from Cornwall
Helen Round is a British textile designer and print maker. Her classic designs, inspired by the flora and fauna of the countryside and coastline are hand printed onto the highest quality linen using traditional screen printing techniques.
Helen’s designs start life as sketch book scribbles, fine line drawings capturing the surrounding beauty of Cornwall.
The collections of simple and functional linen homeware and kitchenware are all made and printed in the Cornish studios. Using small batch production and the best quality linen each piece is sewn by a team of skilled local artisans from start to finish.
We believe in creating products that are long lasting, beautifully made and of excellent quality.
Hello From The Studio
My dream for creating beautiful and functional linen homeware made its’ debut on my kitchen table in early 2012.
I have always loved fabrics and printmaking so this, combined with by background in fine art textiles, is the how the journey began.
My line drawings have a gentle simplicity which is echoed in the products I design, the linen we use, my life and beliefs. The kitchen table is still an important part of my day, it’s the place where we gather as a family and where I often sit and sketch.
Over the years the business has grown and, still maintaining our proud Cornish roots, you can now find our studio and shop at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park.
I hope you enjoy using our linen products as much as I enjoy designing and making them.
Meet the Team
Helen heads up the team, hand screen prints all the linen fabric and, inspired by her native Cornwall, designs up all the wonderful product and collections.
Hayley and Meg oversee the studio – they cut and sew the linen, making the beautiful products you can find in our shop. They have both completed apprenticeships in sewing and have a very keen eye for detail, extremely high standards and love helping to choose new colours and develop our product range.
Carla is our lovely photographer and takes all of our product shots. She is also really clever with all things digital. With a background in textiles, she has even been known to get behind a sewing machine when we are super busy in the studio.
